Passive Sprite Animations

Sorry for the small picture size, The colors are a bit off too.  Apparently it's hard to capture these in gif under 3mb and still look good. Anyway, here's what I learned getting Passive Sprite Animations working.

Super easy to add with the associated Yanfly plugins, but took a bit of doing to get each one looking right. I -think- I've got a set of standard settings now to use for a few different creature types, but it took some trial and error.

First thing I learned was the plugin settings menu was limited compared to just coding the notetags myself, which allowed much smaller fractional adjustments, for more subtle movements. The basic increments of stretching the sprite by "0.1" were way too much, and looked weird on most creatures.

Except the ooze monsters. That crazy exaggerated stretch works great for them! So I did a bunch of different wiggly jiggly movements for them (Picture 1).

Then the floaty effect. This one went CRAZY at first, I found 0.1 floating rate would make large monsters move off the screen (Picture 2).

But with some smaller numbers in the code, we get a more pleasant slow drifty effect (Picture 3).

Well, it's the dawn of the final day, 24 hours remain for the #PirateJam judgement unless they extend again.  If they don't and the submission unlocks, Keep your eyes out for v0.2.0!
